The Mueller BU-62S-2 Insulator is made from protective flexible red silicone and is intended for use with the BU-60 series and BU-61 alligator clips. The BU62S2 keeps the alligator clip from shorting against other alligator clips or outside elements. It has a temperature rating of -40 to 356 F (-40 to 180 C) and a Dielectric strength of 3kV at the thinnest point. Useful for high temperature applications.
