The Red Lion N-Tron
® Series 100-POE4 is an Industrial PoE Mid-Span Injector made to transmit power and data over an Ethernet network. The 100-POE4 is useful for powering PoE capable devices without having to run an AC power feed or other separate wires for power. This also allows for centralized battery backup.

The N-Tron 100-POE4 is an Industrial PoE Mid-Span Injector made for demanding communications requirements while providing high throughput and minimum downtime. The 100-POE4 features four pairs of two 10/100BaseTX RJ-45 copper ports. One port connects to the existing network while the other transmits data and/or power to a PoE capable device. The four pairs are segregated from each other for easy upgrading. The 100-POE4 also has automatic detection for other PoE devices and can automatically disconnect a PoE device that is discovered to have a fault. The 100-POE4 is particularly useful in sending data and/or power to wireless LAN access points, network cameras and VoIP. The 100-POE4 has extended operating environmental specifications to meet the harsh needs of the industrial environment. For cost savings and convenience the 100-POE4 can be DIN-Rail mounted alongside Ethernet I/O or other Industrial Equipment and also eliminates the need for electric wiring. To increase reliability the 100-POE4 provides dual redundant power inputs. Dual LED's are provided to display the power status of their respective power inputs. A global LED is also provided to display the overall power status as well as show when a power bus fault occurs.
