With a Single Shot Falling Edge, the relay de-energizes when the trigger is implemented. Taking away the trigger energizes the relay and begins the time delay. After the time delay, it de-energizes again, and needs the trigger introduced and taken out to re-energize. Adding and taking away the trigger before the time delay ends will keep the relay energized.
