Mencom PCG-M16R gray plastic cable gland has M16 x 1.5 metric thread. Accommodates 0.117 - 0.273" (3 - 7 mm) cable. This cord grip, also referred to as a strain relief fitting, is made to be liquid tight and works with ILME hoods and housings. The PCG-M16R is useful in a number of applications and industries, as it provides a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut. Rated IP 68 for dust and water protection. Temperature Range: -20 C to 100 C. UL & CUL Recognized.

  • Provides strain relief for cable connections

Additional Product Information
An O-ring is not necessary to attain an IP 68 rated seal against the enclosure. Raised rings under the hex nut create the seal. Wide clamping range. The IP 68 rating indicates that the cable gland is completely protected from dust, and can withstand submersion in water. The polyamide material can stand up to different environmental conditions.
