Mencom PCG-16 gray plastic cable gland has PG 16 thread. Accommodates 0.394" - 0.551" (10 - 14 mm) cable. This strain relief fitting, also known as a cord grip, is made to be liquid tight and is compatible with ILME hoods and housings. The PCG16 is useful in many different industries and applications. It provides a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut. Rated IP 68 for protection against dust and moisture. Temperature Range: -20 C to 100 C. UL & CUL Recognized.

  • Gives strain relief to cable connections
  • Tight seal keeps out dirt and water
  • IP 68-5 BAR rating, which is similar to NEMA 6P
  • Withstands up to 5 atmospheres of pressure under water

An O-ring is not needed to obtain an IP 68 rated seal against the enclosure.
Raised rings under the hex nut create the seal.
Designed for use with round cables, not intended for flat or ribbon cables.
