The Macromatic TR-6172U is a power trigger Single Shot Time Delay Relay. This programmable multi-range plug-in relay has a universal input voltage of 24-240V AC & 12-125V DC at 50/60Hz, with 10A DPDT output contacts. It has 16 built in time ranges, from 0.05 sec to 100 hours, using a rotary switch. Precise settings within the time range are made with the potentiometer switch. The TR-6172U uses an 11 pin 70170-D octal socket. This relay replaces TR-61721, TR-61722, TR-61726, & TR-61728. Note: Image is an approximation. Actual part may differ.

With the Single Shot function, the relay is energized once the input voltage and the trigger is implemented. The time delay starts when the trigger, in this case a power trigger, is initiated. The relay de-energizes after the time delay and the trigger needs to be reapplied to start the cycle again.
