How to Read This DIN 43650 Form A Comparison

PG 9 and PG 11 identify the cable-entry thread size, not cable diameter, so the installed cable outside diameter should be checked before ordering. The Hirschmann PG 11 models accept a wider cable range than the PG 9 models, while the listed HTP cable range remains 5 to 10 mm.

Both manufacturers use screw termination, accept conductors up to 16 AWG and use the standard 18 mm Form A contact spacing. The main differences include overall dimensions, cable range, protection class, and UL listing status.
