The die cast zinc housing is made to withstand the harsher conditions of industrial applications. This includes exposure to filings, coolants & lubricants, welding sparks, as well as shock and vibration. It can be mounted on the machinery directly, and cuts time and costs by providing for multiple M12 connections. Using a T junction on the M12 distribution block will give you twice as many available connections. The ports are embedded, which contributes to its space saving construction.
