Twelve Position Push Button Boxes

12‑position push button boxes are industrial-grade enclosures engineered to support up to twelve control devices, such as push buttons, selector switches, or indicator lights, in a compact, standardized layout. These multi‑actuator enclosures streamline wiring and operator interface integration in control panels, machinery stations, and safety systems.

Technical Features & Design Criteria

  • Material & Construction: Commonly built from 0.063" carbon steel (powder coated) or 304 stainless steel with welded seams for structural integrity and corrosion resistance.
  • Hole Size & Layout: Configurations follow 3 x 4 or 2 x 6 hole patterns, supporting actuator diameters of 22.5 mm or 30.5 mm.
  • Depth Options: Extra‑deep versions allow additional room for wiring, contact blocks, and internal components behind the cover.
  • Ingress & Environmental Ratings: Typical designs meet NEMA Type 4, Type 4X, Type 12, and Type 13 ratings, and IP66 under IEC 60529 standards, protecting against dust, oil, splashing water, and hose‑down conditions.
  • Sealing, Gaskets & Cover Design: Oil-resistant gaskets and cover screws threading into sealed wells maintain enclosure integrity under vibration and harsh conditions.
  • Material & Finish Selection: Choose carbon steel for standard environments or stainless steel for corrosive, food processing, or wash‑down applications.
