Before ordering, verify the housing flange and mounting style, female thread requirement, male or female insert, 7-pole layout, termination method, conductor size, electrical ratings, and compatibility with the mating M23 connector.
Crimp contacts are optional and must match the selected insert and wire gauge. Separate contacts are not required when an insert with solder contacts is selected. Protection ratings apply only when all components are correctly assembled and fully mated.

Three housing configurations are available: with a coding option, without a coding option, or for rear mounting. An optional flat gasket is available for the coded and non-coded versions but is not intended for the rear-mount housing.
Insert Flexibility: A compatible male or female insert can be installed in the same housing style.

Termination: Available without contacts for crimp termination or with dip-solder contacts for compatible PC board assembly.

📋 How to Configure and Order
1. Select the Housing: Choose the required flange, mounting style, thread configuration, coding option, gasket, and vibration-resistant housing features.
2. Select the Insert: Choose a compatible 7-pole male or female insert with dip-solder contacts or without contacts for crimp termination.
3. Select Crimp Contacts: If using a crimp insert, choose pin or socket contacts that match the contact diameter and conductor range. 0.75-2.5 mm² (AWG 18-14) for 2 mm contacts.
4. Assemble the Connector: A compatible housing assembly tool (7.010.900.101) is required to assemble the selected housing and insert. Compatible crimp contacts can be inserted and removed without a dedicated contact insertion tool.
5. Verify the Connection: Confirm contact positions, conductor retention, housing assembly, mating engagement, and sealing before energizing the circuit.
