Sealcon PG 11 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cord grips, otherwise known as strain relief or cable glands, are found in many different industries and are used when connecting cable to various applications. This fitting can provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole in order to obtain that rating. The difference in diameter between the cable and the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD11A2BR dome top is self locking, ensuring that the overlapping splines apply an even seal and keeping the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. This also provides pull-out protection for your cable so no damage is caused.
