The Macromatic ARP024A5R is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 24V AC. It is a DPDT cross wired duplexor relay used in situations where the run time of two loads has to be equalized and when more load capacity is necessary. A control switch starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, so the loads alternate. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket.
