Overview
The
ARF024A3R is a Macromatic alternating relay designed to equalize run time between two loads. It operates from 24V AC/DC control power and provides a 10A DPDT Cross-Wired output. The cross-wired contact arrangement supports applications where added load capacity is required.24V AC/DC10A DPDT Cross-Wired8-Pin
Its flange enclosure mounts to the inside of a control-panel door, allowing the relay to be accessed without opening the enclosure. An 8-pin back-mounted socket is included for panel integration.
⚙️ Dual-Load Alternating Control
Runtime Balancing: Alternates operation to distribute use across two loads.
Status Indication: Two LEDs identify relay/load status and help confirm which load is selected in the sequence.
Manual Selection: A low-profile selector switch can lock operation to one load or control which load runs first.
Key Features
- 24V AC/DC control voltage: matches the specified control circuit
- 10A DPDT Cross-Wired output: switches connected load-control circuits
- 8-pin connection: supports organized panel wiring
- Cross-wired contacts: provides added load capacity for dual-load applications
- Inner-Door Flange Mount: fits the specified control-panel installation method
- 8-Pin Back-Mounted Socket: compatible connection platform

✅ Why Choose This Alternating Relay?
The ARF024A3R automatically rotates operation between two loads to help maintain balanced run time. Its 10A DPDT Cross-Wired output, LED indication, and door-mounted construction support dependable dual-load control-panel operation.
Applications
The ARF024A3R is intended for two-load control applications where alternating operation and balanced usage are required:
- Dual-load control systems that require automatic alternation
- Installations where balanced run time prevents one load from being consistently favored
- Control panels using an 8-pin door-mounted relay connection
- Two-load applications requiring added output contact capacity
- Systems that need a manual lead-load or single-load selection option
Operation Notes
- A control switch initiates the alternating action.
- The output contacts change state when the initiating switch opens, causing the loads to alternate.
- Use the two LED indicators to verify relay/load sequence status.
- Use the low-profile selector switch when one load must be locked on or designated to run first.
