The blue fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic polyester housing resists impact, chemical exposure, and ultraviolet radiation. Silver-nickel contacts combine conductivity with durability for repeated connection and disconnection. The alloy contains 85% silver and 15% nickel and limits the effect of oxidation on contact resistance.

Applications
Use this male inlet with a compatible DS60 female receptacle for heavy-duty industrial equipment power connections. Select the mating receptacle for the 480V AC, 60A rating and 2 poles plus ground arrangement. The horsepower rating is 15 hp. The inlet forms the male side of the matched connection.
