Housing and Mounting Options
The housing uses a copper-zinc alloy body with a nickel-plated brass surface and gold-plated brass alloy contacts. Three housing versions include single-hole mount, front mount for male inserts only, and front mount for female inserts only. Single-hole housings accept either male or female inserts; front-mount versions must match the insert gender. Three housing thread types are available.
Features and Benefits
- The Euro Lock System retains contacts inside the insert, and crimp contacts can be installed or removed without tools to reduce the risk of insert or contact damage during repeated changes.
- Machined crimp contacts support discrete-wire termination; dip-solder contacts are available for PCB connections.
- SLS (Spring Loaded Sockets) use an integrated spring to support connection reliability in vibration applications, with support for up to 50 g shock and 10 g continuous force.
- Color-coded spacers identify male and female inserts during assembly.
- UL and CSA approvals, with RoHS and Deca BDE compliance.
Applications
Consider this 6-pole connector for machine control interfaces and industrial equipment connections requiring 2 mm contacts. Its 20 A nominal current rating supports selection for circuits with higher current requirements, provided the voltage, wiring, and mating components match the application.
How to Order
- Select the housing. Choose the mounting version and housing thread type. Optional mounting hardware includes a jam nut for front-mount housings and an M25 × 1.5 jam nut for a single-hole mount housing.
- Select the insert. Choose a 6-pole male pin or female socket insert with dip-solder contacts, or an insert without contacts for crimp termination.
- Select optional crimp contacts. Choose 2 mm pin or socket contacts in sets of 6 and match the crimp range to the conductor size. For inserts with solder contacts, select “No Contacts Required”; separate crimp contacts are unnecessary.
Crimp Contact Wire Ranges
Choose the contact part number by conductor cross-section and AWG range. The ranges below apply to the optional crimp contacts; dip-solder inserts do not require separate crimp contacts.

Installation and Selection Notes
Match the housing, insert gender, contact diameter, and termination method before ordering. Male housing threads do not determine whether the insert uses pins or sockets. Check the nominal voltage values for the applicable degree of protection and use the selected housing’s mounting hardware and assembly requirements.
