Housing and Mounting Options
The right-angle housing uses a die-cast zinc body with a nickel-plated brass surface and gold-plated brass alloy contacts. Five housing types include fixed and 300° or 335° rotating versions. Fixed housings mount with M2.5 screws, while 300° rotating housings use a 1.5 mm locking screw at the flange. The rotating flange has four 0.11-inch (2.7 mm) mounting holes. Male and female inserts can be used in the same housing type.
Features and Benefits
- The Euro Lock System retains contacts inside the insert, and crimp contacts can be installed or removed without tools to reduce the risk of insert or contact damage during repeated changes.
- Machined crimp contacts support discrete-wire termination; dip-solder contacts are available for PCB connections.
- SLS (Spring Loaded Sockets) use an integrated spring to support connection reliability in vibration applications, with support for up to 50 g shock and 10 g continuous force.
- Color-coded spacers identify male and female inserts during assembly.
- UL and CSA approvals, with RoHS and Deca BDE compliance.
Applications
Use the 7-pole layout for control wiring interfaces on machinery and industrial assemblies that require seven connection positions. The 2 mm contacts provide a 20 A nominal current rating. Match the insert, conductor size, and mating connector to the circuit requirements.
How to Order
- Select the housing. Choose from five panel connector housing types, including fixed and rotating versions. Check the mounting arrangement and required connection direction.
- Select the insert. Choose a 7-pole male pin or female socket insert with dip-solder contacts, or an insert without contacts for crimp termination.
- Select optional crimp contacts. Choose 2 mm pin or socket contacts in sets of 7 and match the crimp range to the conductor size. For inserts with solder contacts, select “No Contacts Required”; separate crimp contacts are unnecessary.
Crimp Contact Wire Ranges
Choose the contact part number by conductor cross-section and AWG range. The ranges below apply to the optional crimp contacts; dip-solder inserts do not require separate crimp contacts.
| 2 mm crimp contacts | 0.75 mm²–2.5 mm², AWG 18–AWG 14 |

Installation and Selection Notes
Match the housing, insert gender, contact diameter, and termination method before ordering. Male housing threads do not determine whether the insert uses pins or sockets. Check the nominal voltage values for the applicable degree of protection and use the selected housing’s mounting hardware and assembly requirements.
