Sealcon M16 Connector for Compact Industrial Signal Connections
The Sealcon provides a durable, field-assembled connection for small drives and compact industrial equipment. The straight cable exit supports compact, direct routing on drives, motors, sensors, and other industrial automation equipment. Its 3-pin configuration is rated for 20 A at 400 V, while the 2 mm crimp contacts accommodate 17–14 AWG conductors.
A nickel-plated brass housing supplies mechanical strength and EMI shielding. Gold-plated contact surfaces support stable signal transfer, and the Euro-Lock design helps keep contacts seated after assembly. When properly mated and assembled, IP67/IP69K protection helps resist dust, water immersion, and high-pressure washdown exposure.
🛡️ IP67 / IP69K Protection
Supports demanding industrial environments when the connector is correctly assembled and mated
📡 EMI Shielding
Nickel-plated brass housing helps protect signal connections from electromagnetic interference
🔒 Euro-Lock Retention
Contact-retention design helps keep crimp contacts securely positioned inside the insert
🧰 Tool-Free Contact Handling
Contacts can be inserted or removed without a separate contact service tool
Key Features & Benefits
- Field-assembled design: Build and service the cable connection on site using the included housing, insert, and crimp contacts
- Metal housing with EMI shielding: Helps protect sensitive signal paths in electrically noisy machinery and control systems
- Euro-Lock contact retention: Helps prevent contacts from shifting after they are installed in the PBT insert
- Gold-plated contact surfaces: Promote consistent electrical contact through repeated mating cycles
- Wide operating temperature range: Rated from -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C) for industrial equipment
- Serviceable configuration: Housing, insert, and contacts are also available separately for maintenance or custom connector builds
