Fandis FF08GDN Series 24V DC Fan Filter Assembly: 106.5mm, Gray
Compact enclosure cooling with 32 CFM airflow, IP44 protection, tool-free mounting, and a 100,000-hour expected service life.
Reliable 24V DC Cooling for Control Cabinets
The Fandis FF08GDN Series fan filter assembly provides filtered ventilation for electrical enclosures, control cabinets, automation equipment, and sensitive electronics. Its 24V DC fan delivers up to 32 CFM (55 m³/h) of airflow to remove heat that can contribute to component faults, shortened equipment life, or unplanned system downtime.
Designed as an updated alternative to the Fandis FPF Series, the FF Series incorporates structural and installation improvements that simplify routine cooling-system maintenance. The RAL 7035 gray assembly measures 106.5mm and uses progressive-structure synthetic filter media to help limit dust entry while supporting standard airflow through the enclosure.
💨 32 CFM Airflow
Moves up to 55 m³/h of filtered air to help control heat inside compact electrical enclosures.
🔌 24V DC Operation
Suitable for DC-powered industrial control panels, automation systems, and electronic equipment.
🛡️ IP44 Protection
Protects against solid objects 1mm and larger and against splashing water from any direction.
⏱️ 100,000-Hour Life
Long expected operating life supports dependable enclosure cooling with reduced replacement frequency.
Key Features & Benefits
- Tool-Free Clip Mounting: Elastic clips secure the assembly in the specified square panel opening when the enclosure wall is 1–2mm thick.
- Optional Screw Attachment: Thicker cabinets can accommodate screw mounting; mounting screws are not included.
- External Filter Access: Sliding catches allow the cover to be removed from outside the enclosure for faster filter-media replacement without tools.
- Improved Water Management: Molded ribbing between the base and cover channels runoff toward the exterior.
- Durable Polymer Construction: Main plastic components use an ABS/polycarbonate alloy, while elastic clips are made from PA 66 GF13 HSL.
- Progressive Synthetic Filter Media: Thermally bonded synthetic fibers capture airborne contaminants while permitting standard airflow.
- Industrial Gray Finish: RAL 7035 gray coordinates with common electrical enclosure finishes.
- Recognized Compliance: UL E237844, CE, and CSA approvals support use in qualifying industrial installations.
⚠️ Confirm Cutout and Panel Thickness Before Installation
Use the specified square opening shown in the FF08GDN cutout documentation. Clip mounting is intended for panels 1–2mm thick. For thicker enclosure walls, use suitable screws and verify that the installation maintains the required fit and protection level.
🏭 Typical Applications
The FF08GDN Series is suited for PLC cabinets, variable frequency drive enclosures, industrial machine controls, power distribution panels, communications cabinets, and electronic instrumentation. It is especially useful where heat-producing equipment requires steady filtered airflow from a compact 24V DC cooling assembly.

📋 Installation Overview
Before Installing:
1. Verify the Cutout: Confirm that the enclosure opening matches the FF08GDN cutout diagram.
2. Check Panel Thickness: Use clip mounting for 1–2mm panels; plan suitable screw attachment for thicker walls.
3. Determine Air Direction: Position the fan filter to establish the required enclosure airflow path.
4. Mount the Assembly: Press the unit evenly into the square opening until the elastic clips engage securely.
5. Connect 24V DC Power: Complete wiring according to the installation manual and applicable electrical requirements.
6. Test Operation: Restore power and confirm airflow, secure mounting, and unobstructed ventilation.
Disconnect power before installation or maintenance. Installation should be completed by qualified personnel.
🧰 Simplified Filter Maintenance
Sliding cover catches provide outside access to the filter media, eliminating the need to open the enclosure for routine replacement. Inspect the media at intervals appropriate for the dust level and operating environment. Replace clogged or damaged media promptly to maintain cooling performance and reduce fan strain.
