  1. Mount the distribution box: any orientation works since it's IP67 rated.
  2. Connect power first using the 4-pin S-coded cable (24V DC, 16A max). Confirm the LED power indicator lights up.
  3. Wire your inputs/outputs: remember 5-pin ports = inputs, 4-pin ports = outputs. Watch the LED I/O indicators for live status.
  4. Install TaskScript Studio IDE (runs on Windows XP through Windows 10) and connect via the M12-to-USB programming cable.
  5. Build your logic using drag-and-drop flowchart blocks (no traditional ladder logic syntax required) then push the program and watch it run at up to 10,000 scans/second.

🆘 Troubleshooting & Emergency Fixes

⚠️ No power LED after connecting

Check supply voltage is 24V DC and confirm polarity on the 4-pin S-coded connector. Overvoltage protection will shut the port down if levels exceed spec.

⚠️ Cable won't seat into a port

You likely have the pin count backwards. Inputs are 5-pin, outputs are 4-pin. Forcing a mismatched connector can damage the nickel-plated coupling.

⚠️ TaskScript Studio won't detect the unit

Confirm the USB programming cable (rated 1.5A / 30V AC/DC) is fully seated and that Windows recognized the USB device before relaunching the IDE.

⚠️ Input/output not responding

Check the corresponding LED status indicator first. Optoisolated I/O rated at 2A will not respond to devices drawing above that threshold.
