Eight Position Push Button Boxes

8‑position push button boxes are robust control enclosures built to support eight actuator devices, such as push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights, in a single housing. These units optimize panel layout, streamline wiring, and maintain protection in industrial environments.

Technical Features & Selection Guidelines

  • Material & Construction: Standard boxes use 0.063" carbon steel with powder‑coated finishes (ANSI‑61 gray) to resist corrosion and abrasion.
  • Hole Pattern & Actuator Compatibility: Common layouts include 2 x 4 or 1 x 8 configurations. Models support 22.5 or 30.5 mm actuator openings.
  • Sloped Front & Ergonomic Options: Two models tilt the operator interface for ergonomic access, helpful when mounted at lower heights.
  • Ingress Protection & Sealing: Meets NEMA 4, 12, 13, IEC IP66 ratings. To maintain protection under vibration, splash, or washdown, these boxes use oil‑resistant gaskets, cover screws threaded into sealed wells, and continuously welded seams.
  • Selection Tips
  1. Match actuator diameter to your control devices.
  2. Use sloped front styles when ergonomics or access is critical.
  3. Verify ingress rating meets onsite conditions.
  4. Ensure internal clearance supports any modules, relays, or terminal blocks behind actuators.
