Five Position Push Button Boxes

5‑position push button boxes are engineered enclosures that host five actuator devices (push buttons, selector switches, pilot lights) in a linear configuration. These compact enclosures streamline wiring, maintain environmental protection, and provide support in industrial control systems.

Technical Features & Selection Criteria

  • Material & Construction: Two of the 5‑position enclosures are built from 0.063" carbon steel with ANSI‑61 gray powder coating to resist corrosion and mechanical wear. The ABS plastic fiberglass variant offers chemical resistance and non‑conductivity in corrosive or hazardous environments.
  • Dimensions & Layout: Standard 5‑position versions use a 1 x 5 hole pattern, fitting 22m, 22.5mm, or 30.5mm diameter hole sizes
  • Sealing & Ingress Protection: The steel models meet NEMA Types 4, 12, 13, or IEC IP66 standards. The plastic model meets IP66/67.
  • Application Guidance: Use steel boxes in standard industrial environments where mechanical strength is important. In washdown, chemical, or high‑moisture settings, choose plastic to prevent corrosion or electrical hazards. Always verify actuator size compatibility, internal clearance, ingress rating, and certification before selection.
