Sealcon M20 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cord Grips, Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands are used by many industries when connecting wire or cable to their applications. This cord grip provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to attain this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the cable's diameter and the diameter of the hole. A NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible to achieve, presuming that there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD22MPBR dome top is self locking and makes sure that the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
