Profibus DP Cordset Option Explanations

Profibus DP

Profibus DP means Decentralized Peripherals. It connects sensors and actuators to a centralized control system. Mencom PBEC Profibus DP cordsets use 3-pole, B-coded connectors.

PVC Cable

Poly Vinyl Chloride is the industry-standard cable material for these cordsets, with an operating range from -40°C to 80°C.

Armor Options

Stainless Steel: Crush resistant and stands up to corrosion and abrasion.

PVC-Covered Stainless Steel: Crush resistant, abrasion resistant and liquid tight.

Silicone: Handles chemical exposure, weld slag and high-temperature applications.
