Mencom MCGW-29 nickel plated brass cable gland has PG 29 thread. Accommodates 0.702 - 0.994" (18 - 25 mm) cable. Also referred to as a cord grip or strain relief fitting, it is made to be liquid tight and can be used along with ILME hoods. The MCGW29 proves useful in a large variety of industries and applications, in order to provide a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut. Rated IP 68 for dirt and water protection.

An O-ring is included with the MCGW-29 in order to reach an IP 68 rated seal against the enclosure. It is designed for use with round cables, and is not intended for flat or ribbon cables.
The IP 68 rating indicates that the cable gland is totally protected from dust, and can stand up to submersion in water.
