Mencom MCGB-16 Nickel Plated Brass shielded cable gland has PG 16 thread. Accommodates .394-.551" (10-14mm) cable. This cord grip is designed to be liquid tight and can be used with ILME enclosures and hoods. The MCGB16 can be found in many different applications and industries, as it creates a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut and O-ring. Rated IP 68 (Total protection from dust and prolonged immersion in water). Temperature Range: -20 C to 100 C.

  • Tight seal keeps out dirt and moisture
  • IP 68-5 BAR rating, which is similar to NEMA 6P
  • Withstands up to 5 atmospheres of pressure under water
  • Grommet provides the seal around cable
  • Has standard size insert
  • Made for EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) resistance
  • Shield must be folded over the insert for proper fitting between the insert and the cable gland
