Mencom PCG-M12 gray plastic cable gland has M12 x 1.5 thread. Accommodates 0.156 - 0.273" (3 - 6.5 mm) cable. This strain relief fitting, also known as a cord grip, is made to be liquid tight and is compatible with ILME hoods. The PCG-M12 can be used in many different applications and industries, as it creates a protective seal for cables that pass through enclosures. Sold Individually. Includes locknut. Rated IP 68 for dust and water protection. Temperature Range: -20 C to 100 C. UL & CUL Recognized.

An O-ring is not needed to reach an IP 68 rated seal against the enclosure. Crush ribs under the hex nut create the seal. Features a wide clamping range. The IP 68 rating indicates that the cable gland is completely protected from dust, and can withstand submersion in water. It has a polyamide construction, which is known for its durability, so it will be able to handle many environmental conditions.
