The Macromatic TD-83121-43 is a Repeat Cycle OFF Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 240V AC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The OFF and ON timing ranges are digitally selected by two sets of 10 position binary DIP switches, from 1 to 1023 minutes. The TD8312143 uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket. The Repeat Cycle OFF function means that once the input voltage is introduced, the OFF time delay starts. The relay energizes after this time delay, and stays energized during the ON time delay. After the ON time delay the relay de-energizes and the cycle repeats itself until the input voltage is taken out. There are two sets of DIP switches, one for the OFF delay, and one for the ON delay. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay for both the OFF and ON cycles. For example, to set the time delay for 120 minutes (2 hours), the switches for 8, 16, 32, & 64 would be moved to the ON position.
