The Macromatic TD-81622-43 is an Off Delay Time Delay Relay. This programmable plug-in relay has an input voltage of 120V AC/DC at 50/60Hz and 10A DPDT output contacts. The timing ranges are digitally selected by 10 position binary DIP switch, from 1 to 1023 minutes. The TD8162243 uses an 11 pin 70170-D octal socket. The Off Delay function means that the output is energized through the use of a trigger, in this case, a control switch. The time delay starts when the trigger is taken out. The output becomes de-energized once the time delay stops. Re-introducing the trigger before the time delay stops resets the time delay. Input voltage must be in place before the trigger and time delay can take effect. Each DIP switch is labeled with a time increment. Move the necessary switches to the ON position and add up their labeled values to set the time delay. For example, to set the time delay for 120 minutes (2 hours), the switches for 8, 16, 32, & 64 would be moved to the ON position.
