The Macromatic ARP240A3 is an alternating relay. This 8 Pin plug-in relay has a control voltage of 240V with an output of 10A DPDT cross wired. This duplexor relay is intended for situations in which load usage alternates between 2 loads and added load capacity is necessary. This relay is used with a control switch, which starts the alternating action. The output contacts on the relay change state when the initiating switch opens, causing the loads to alternate. The ARP240A3 has 2 LED indicators that show which load energizes first. It uses an 8 pin 70169-D octal socket.
