Product Overview

The Hirschmann GREYHOUND GRS103-6TX/4C-1HV-2S (942298-001) is a modular managed Ethernet workgroup switch with ten base ports and expansion capacity up to twenty-six ports. Six 10/100 Mbps TX ports connect Fast Ethernet devices, and four 10/100/1000 Mbps TX/SFP ports provide copper or fiber connection options. Two media module positions allow up to sixteen additional Fast Ethernet ports.

The HiOS 2S feature set supports VLAN segmentation, QoS, multicast control and SNMP management. Store-and-forward switching, auto-negotiation and auto-polarity support device connections, while MRP, RSTP and LACP provide options for redundant network layouts. IEC 61850 MMS server and switch model functionality, along with Modbus TCP, supports integration with industrial network systems.

This fanless 1HV model operates from 100–240 V AC and mounts in a 19-inch control cabinet. USB-C supports local management and device replacement tasks. Its modular design suits installations that need a smaller initial port count with room to add connections as the network expands.
