Product OverviewThe Hirschmann GREYHOUND GRS103-6TX/4C-2HV-2A (942298-004) combines modular Ethernet connectivity, HiOS 2A management and redundant AC power in a fanless rackmount switch. Its ten base ports include six 10/100 Mbps TX ports and four 10/100/1000 Mbps TX/SFP ports. Up to two media modules provide sixteen additional Fast Ethernet ports for a maximum of twenty-six connections. The 2A software feature set includes VLAN segmentation, QoS, SNMP, an OPC-UA server and a DNS client. Redundancy functions include MRP over link aggregation and Sub Ring Manager, as well as MRP, RSTP, link backup and LACP. IEC 61850 MMS server and switch model functionality and Modbus TCP support industrial network integration. Two 100–240 V AC power supplies support redundant power connections, while USB-C provides access for local management and device replacement. The 19-inch control cabinet mounting format suits centralized workgroup networks. This configuration combines expansion capacity with the management capabilities of HiOS 2A for installations that require both.
