The body is epoxy coated die cast aluminum with a thermoplastic handle & stainless steel hook. Rated IP 66 when attached and locked down. The clamping force supplied by the CZP-15L is constant due to the stainless steel locking system. The thermoplastic handle reduces wear on the hood pin
