🚨 Emergency Troubleshooting Guide

🔴 Red LED - Electrical Error
  • Immediate action: Unplug from outlet, wait 1 minute, reconnect
  • Check: Circuit breaker hasn't tripped
  • Verify: NEMA 14-50 outlet properly wired (2 Hot / Ground, no neutral)
  • If persists: Contact electrician to test outlet voltage (should read 208-240V)
🟠 Amber LED - Ground Fault or Over Current
  • Ground fault: Moisture/water intrusion: dry unit completely, check cable for damage
  • Over Current: Current should not exceed 48 Amps (11.2 kW)
  • Prevention: Ensure outdoor units are properly sealed, inspect cable regularly
⚡ Charger Won't Start
  • Verify vehicle is in "charge mode" (some EVs require this to be enabled)
  • Ensure J1772 connector clicks firmly into vehicle port
  • Check that vehicle charge timer isn't delaying start
  • Confirm amperage setting doesn't exceed your circuit breaker rating
🔌 Breaker Keeps Tripping
  • Reduce amperage: If on 48A, switch to 40A or 32A setting
  • Breaker size: 48A requires 60A breaker, 40A requires 50A breaker
  • Shared circuit: Ensure no other high-draw appliances on same circuit
