The 5001-0023 is a spindle nut wire length pointer block for the Major 5001 electric wire stripper. It is located on the wire length spindle at the front of the machine.

Installation Instructions

1. Unplug the Major 5001 wire stripper
2. Turn the blue wire-length adjustment knob until the pointer block is accessible
3. Remove the blue knob/cap and any retaining hardware from the end of the spindle
4. Slide or unthread the damaged pointer block from the wire-length spindle
5. Install the new block in the same direction as the original
6. Reinstall the retaining hardware and knob
7. Set the pointer to a known strip length, test it on scrap wire, and adjust the pointer position if the indicated length does not match the actual strip
