Sealcon PG 13 / 13.5 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands are used to connect cable to applications in a wide range of industries. This strain relief fitting is able to provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. In order to achieve that rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm) of difference between the cable's diameter and that of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible, however testing may be required to verify it. The ACME thread on the CD13A1BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This prevents the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & provides your cable with pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
