Sealcon 1/2" NPT Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole Cable Glands, sometimes called Strain Relief Fittings or Cord Grips, are used when attaching wire or cable to different applications and can be found in many industries. This cable gland provides a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. The cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole to reach this rating. There also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). difference between the diameter of the cable and the diameter of the hole. The NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is achievable, provided there is an ideal fit. The ACME thread on the CD13N1BR dome top is self locking, so the overlapping splines create an even seal, so that form seal does not come out of the fitting. This also gives your cable pull-out protection so it causes no damage.
