Sealcon 1/2" NPT nylon plastic hazardous location cable glands are useful in applications that require exceptional performance and fire resistance, and is done without twisting the cable. Also known as strain relief fittings or cord grips, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Hazardous location cord grips are ATEX approved, meaning they are designed for potentially explosive environments. This fitting is designated Ex-e, for increased safety. Increase adaptability by switching the standard inserts with reduced inserts. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets keep your cable protected from damage and the elements. The CD16NR-BX cable gland provides a large amount of Pull-out resistance by applying even force on all points of the cable.
