LiteCycle Junction Box enclosuresMajor Electronix is now offering junction box enclosures from LiteCycle. Junction boxes, also referred to as terminal boxes, are made to protect electrical connections. They not only keep the connections inside safe from outside hazards, but they also protect others from unsafe contact. Available with or without an integrated terminal strip, these enclosures come in a variety of sizes and configurations to fit a wide range of uses. The enclosures without terminal strips are aluminum with a gray powder finish. The powder finish makes them resistant to corrosion. Besides giving protection, they can also be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes and have complete protection against dust or dirt.

The integrated terminal junction boxes are available in aluminum or plastic, which comes in gray, ivory or gray with a clear polycarbonate cover. The terminal boxes are made to save the time and effort of having to install a terminal strip inside. Each of the three plastic terminal enclosures are ideally suited for different uses. Ivory enclosures are ideal in situations where presenting a pleasing appearance is important. The electrical enclosures with clear covers prove useful for applications that need to be checked regularly. The solid gray is used most often for industrial jobs.

The LiteCycle enclosures are durable and tested to meet quality standards. Many of the these enclosures feature compact designs and are easy to install, with their removable covers and molded knockouts. Others have molded dimensions for quicker mounting.
