Sealcon PG 42 nylon plastic hazardous location cord grips are particularly useful in applications that need exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is done without twisting the cable. Also known as cable glands or strain relief fittings, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. Hazardous location fittings are ATEX approved, meaning they are designed for potentially explosive environments. This cable gland is designated Ex-e, for increased safety. Switching out the standard inserts with reduced inserts increases flexibility. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets help keep your cable protected from damage and the elements. The CD42AR-BX cord grip creates a substantial amount of Pull-out resistance by applying concentric force on all points of the cable.
