Sealcon PG 16 Nickel Plated Brass Multi-hole cable glands are used in various industries to connect wire or cable to many applications. This strain relief fitting can provide a NEMA 4x (IP 65) rating. To reach this rating, the cable cannot be less than 80% of the diameter of the hole. The difference in diameter between the cable and the hole also cannot be more than .04" (1 mm). Testing may be needed to confirm if the NEMA 6 (IP 68) submersible rating is possible. The ACME thread on the CD16A0BR dome top is self locking, while the overlapping splines apply an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting & gives your cable pull-out protection so no damage is caused.
