The Light Efficient Design LED-8087E57-A is a 30W shoe box / wall pack retrofit, daylight, LED light with #2835 LEDs. It has a rated voltage of 120-277VAC with a luminosity of 4225Lm and color temperature of 5700K. The LED8087E57A features a rotatable E26 Edison base so the light can be focused on a specific target. It features a space-saving housing, with Type V general distribution optics, and can be used for horizontal mounting. When mounting in an HID fixture, if the ballast is present, it must be bypassed. It is UL classified for damp places, and approved for enclosed fixtures.

The benefits of using the LED-8087E57-A include lower maintenance and replacement costs, due to its long life. The active cooling and dynamic temperature control help to maintain the 50,000 hr lifespan of the lamp. It is useful in several different applications that typically use HID fixtures, including shoe box fixtures along roadways or in parking lots, shoe box flood lights, wall pack fixtures or horizontal canopy lighting. Sealing the HID fixture after mounting the lamp provides the most optimum performance. It is also recommended to use surge protection to prevent driver failure due to power surges, especially in a outdoor setting.
