Hirschmann SPIDER II 8TXThe Hirschmann SPIDER II 8TX (P/N: 943957-001) is an entry level DIN rail switch which features an economical, space saving design. It is especially ideal for the harsh environments found in automation applications. It has eight 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 ports with an LED and a 3 pin plug in terminal block. The LED can indicate power, link status and data rate. It has a wide operating temperature range of 0 C to +60 C (32 F to 60 F) and a storage temperature range of -40 C to +70 C (-40 F to 158 F). With its long estimated MTBF of 98.8 years, the Spider II 8TX is extremely reliable. This Ethernet switch is made to meet industry standards and can help you establish networks that meet IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u standards. This ethernet switch has dimensions of 1.4 x 5.4 x 4.8 inches, so it won't take up much space on the DIN rail.

The Hirschmann SPIDER II 8TX is perfect for smaller networks when having a managed switch is not needed. It can even work on the outer edges of a bigger network, if necessary. It features plug and play capabilities, so implementation of the switch does not become too complex.
