Guide to CPS Cable Carrier Drag Chains

As the CPS drag chains available have their components sold separately, you'll want to make sure you are getting all the right parts you need for proper operation. There are several things to keep in mind when choosing which parts are needed for your application.

Cable Carrier Specifications

  • Pitch - The distance from one chain link connection to the next
  • Bending Radius - Rotation diameter of the chain, should be larger than the bend radius for the largest size cable or hose used in the chain
  • Dimensions - Listed for every chain link are the inner & outer dimensions
  • Length - These cable carriers are sold by the link. Using our Cable Carrier Chain Calculator, find the pitch you need, enter the length (in feet) you need, and the calculator will tell you how many links you need
