Additional Product Information
Humidity and condensation can build-up inside a control cabinet when the internal temperature fluctuates. Enclosures in outside applications are especially susceptible to this hazard. The excess moisture can lead to equipment damage or a performance failure. Through the use of the KH 800-200 electric heater, warmer air can be dispersed evenly on the inside, reducing the risk. Please note that this unit is intended to be installed inside the enclosure, near the bottom, and away from exposure to dust or water.

The fan can be controlled by the thermostat along with the heater, or be set to always run, whether the heater is on or not. The heater takes in the cooler air from the bottom of the unit, while releasing warmer air through its top. The thermostat controls when the heater comes on, and has an adjustable range from -4 F to 104 F. If the fan fails to operate, or if the airflow is restricted, there is an auto-reset over-temperature thermostat that will shut the heater off so the unit does not overheat.
