Sealcon metric M63 x 1.5 nylon plastic hazardous location (Hazloc) cord grips are used in applications that need exceptional performance and fire resistance, which is done without twisting the cable. Also known as strain relief fittings or cable glands, they provide a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. It is made from fiber reinforced nylon plastic, for stronger resistance to impact. It meets the DIN EN 60079-0: 2012 standard. Hazardous location fittings are ATEX approved, as they are intended for potentially explosive environments. This cord grip is designated Ex-e, for increased safety. Changing out the standard and reduced inserts increases modularity. Sealcon patented overlapping clamping splines and recessed custom grommets protect your cable from damage and the elements. The CD63MR-BXA cable gland provides a substantial amount of Pull-out resistance by supplying a concentric force on all points of the cable.
