Sealcon M12 x 1.5 Metric Nickel Plated Brass Cord Grips, also known as Strain Relief Fittings or Cable Glands, are used in almost every industry and are designed to attach cable or wire to various applications. This fitting carries a NEMA 4x & 6 (IP 68 & 69K), 150 PSIG (10 bar) Liquid Tight Rating. The CF12DR-BR permits you to change the size of the cable opening just by trading out the standard and reduced inserts. The ACME thread on the flex top is self locking and makes sure that the overlapping splines provide an even seal. This keeps the form seal from being pulled out of the fitting. It also gives pull-out protection to your cable without causing damage. Cable kinking or chafing is eliminated by using the flex nut. Cable glands with elongated threads are typically used when they need to go through a thick wall, or simply if a longer thread length meets the needs of the application better.
