The Mencom MDC-4FP-10M-A03-SS Micro DC (M12) female straight armored cordset features a 4 pin insert, 22 AWG wire and 10 meters of cable. The body is black PVC with gold plated copper alloy contacts and a stainless steel coupling nut. It has black PVC jacketed stainless steel armor covering yellow PVC cable, which is rated at 300V and 105 C. Mencom MDC cordsets use an M12 coupling nut and an A-coded single keyway. Also known as Micro-change connectors, they provide plug and play capability for various applications, particularly for sensors. Rated IP 69

The 304 stainless steel armor around the cable prevents damage caused by corrosion, and withstands impacts and abrasions. The 304 steel resists a wide variety of chemicals, both organic and inorganic, and minimizes the chance of contamination. The PVC jacket covering the stainless steel adds a water tight layer of protection. Applications that are in extremely harsh environments receive the most benefit from armored molded cables. Note: The armor can't be cut without damaging the cable. About 12 inches of free cable extend from the end of the armored section.
