The Meltric 63-68073 DSN60 male inlet is rated for 250V and 60A. It features 3 Poles plus ground. It has a wiring capacity of 12-4 AWG with a temperature range of -40 F to 140 F. The body is impact resistant blue thermoplastic polyester, reinforced with fiberglass, with silver-nickel contacts. The housing is made to withstand chemical and UV exposure. The 63-68073 is made for optimum safety by greatly reducing the chances of arc flash. The durable construction is designed to last without immediately needing replacement parts, which in turn lowers costs. The lightweight design of the Meltric DSN Decontactor series does not take up a lot of unwanted space. When connected to the correct female receptacle, the watertight assembly makes it ideal for wet or washdown applications in industrial environments. These power connectors also have plug and play capability for a fast and easy disconnect, making for more efficient operation by generating less downtime.
Silver nickel contacts: 85% silver, 15% nickel combination. Creates a durable and highly conductive contact point. Oxidation will not greatly hinder its contact resistance. Stands up to repeated connecting and disconnecting
Lockout tagout capability: A 5/16" hole in the plug housing makes it easy to use a padlock on the plug if needed, in order to keep it from being inserted into a receptacle.
