The EternaBond RSG-4-50 RoofSeal leak repair tape is gray with a 50 foot length and a 4 inch width. Total thickness is 35 mil. It is safe to use in sunny locations, due to the backing that offers UV protection. RoofSeal expands or contracts along with the current conditions because of its high elongation factor.

Installation

The area should be dry and free from debris or other substances before RoofSeal can be applied. Remove the lining as the tape is being applied to prevent mistakes and keep the tape from coming into contact with other surfaces or objects. Pressure should be applied to set up the bonding process and remove any air bubbles. This can be done with your hand, although a steel roller provides the best results. If the ambient temperature is 40 F to -20 F, the surface should be treated with EternaPrime surface conditioner before applying.
