This Vapor Tight light fixture has a number of characteristics that make it ideal for applications in harsher environments. It is made from polymers designed to draw heat away from the lamp as well as resist exposure to dirt and moisture. The marine grade stainless steel hardware can stand up to corrosive substances, including salt water spray and acids. The beveled edges on the housing allow water to slide off and drain through the holes in the rim. The housing also offers several mounting options, including pendant, conduit, or surface mount. The junction box on the housing is impact resistant. Application examples include food processing plants, parking garages, tunnels & subways, stairwells, loading docks, and car washes.
